• Matthew Perez

Pastor Matt, his wife Beth, and their three children joined JBF in January of 2012.  Prior to coming to JBF Pastor Matt served in Youth Ministry for over thirteen years.  Originally from Indiana, the Perez family spent five and half years in Kodiak, Alaska serving in youth ministry before coming to JBF.

Matt has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from North Central College, a Juris Doctorate from DePaul Law School, and a Master’s in Biblical Studies from the Moody Bible Institute. One of Matt’s favorite verses, and his personal philosophy on ministry, comes from Ezra 7:10, “For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the LORD, and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel.”

In his personal time Pastor Matt can be found either spending time with his wife and kids, reading, riding his bike, or watching sports.  You can listen to or download Matt's Sunday morning messages on our website.

Zane, his wife Shana, and their two children joined JBF in October of 2016. Before coming to JBF, Zane was employed at Cabela’s corporate headquarters in Sidney, NE and served in many roles for the Sidney Evangelical Free Church, including worship leader, trustee, Sunday school teacher, and Bible study leader. Zane also served a year long internship with Campus Ventures, a college ministry in Laramie, Wyoming.

Zane completed his bachelor’s of science degree in Ministry and Leadership from Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids, MI, January 2017. He also has an associates of arts degree from Western Nebraska Community College.

In Zane’s free time you will find him taking walks with his family, wrestling with his kids, drinking coffee, playing guitar, watching sports, or chucking some plastic on the disc golf course.

Wendy became office administrator at the end of October 2013. Her family started attending Jesup Bible Fellowship in 2003. During her membership at JBF, she has served as children's church coordinator and was on the Christian Education Board.

She resides in Jesup with her husband, Jason, and daughter, Marlee with son, Zach, who is now attending college.
